Question by nipples kostalakis: Why is china buying up the world while the USA spend their money fighting Isreals enemies?
They are buying companies like Nokia and investing in many international companies.
The USA spends her wealth fighting her traditional muslim enemies (iraq, afghanistan?) while China are buying up the world?
Does anyone else think the USA has lost the plot?

Hell I would send my shit to China if I owned a company,they work for less and you get more sales.Sure we need some troops over there for stability until pullout,but not so damn many.
China has to do something with the foreign currency they are making now.
Much of the world’s manufacturing has moved to China under trade agreements because of the cheap labor.
Just for grins, check your hardware stores, department stores, etc. and total how many items are now made in China.
The USA has not only lost the plot, we have lost our edge.
the USA spends 60% of its income on social programs 20% on military, and the rest on interest and cost to run the government. the people in the USA are not patriotic enough to buy their next door neighbors products.

The Americans are banking heavily on taking over the Middle East, and commercializing it big time. Oil controls EVERYTHING.
China buying up resources, taking up stakes in big companies, and growth is normal. China’s got 1.3B people to take care of.
If things continue it’s course, I believe USA and China will become the World’s largest economies by far. With USA producing goods to China’s fast-rising middle class. USA has been spenders for the past 30+ years, it’s a role-reversal we’re going to see.
With trillions in debt, I cannot see the American’s continuing their ways. This role reversal I talk about is already evident.
McDs, Coke, Pepsi, GM!!, MS, everyone is setting up shop in China.
Just think rationally, Canada has 30 million population total. China has 1.3B. If China’s GDP continues to rise 7% per year compounded, the Chinese market is lucrative to say the least. To add to this, the average Chinese person has little to no debt, with 30% savings rate.
Chinese people spend large amounts of money on things they like, CELL PHONES, COMPUTERS, GADGETS, CLOTHES, EATING OUT, CARS..etc. No different than you.
In closing, America isn’t able to compete with China neck to neck, so America is smart, they simply go take over the Oil. Which indirectly controls everything.

that’s before 9/11, afghan, iraq, it was about that amount even during vietnam.
we do spend a lot of money buying up companies everywhere too. congress just approved $ 200 billion dollars to be given to the IMF, then to be used to bailout financial firms in Europe and South Korea
so we do, just they’re not the attention grabbing headlines
instead of thinking that government make rational choice by logical congitive pattern, please keep in mind that the decision of a country is largely influence by the people that inhibit the nation and the official that carries the society cultural tradition
The USA is a Christian dominated country that most of its holiday is oriented around Christ and Jesus, and their citizen’s focus on religion naturally leads to conflict as it was traditional like the crusader and ect.
On the other hand, Chinese don’t have such strong believe in religion, as so government isn’t influenced by religion at all, therefore china have the ability disassociate with religion conflict when it comes to foreign policy.
Also the US spends more than it earns, it is due to its wealth background, in comparison china was and still is a poor nation(on average citizen), so with insecurity floating in the back of their mind, Chinese tend to save as much as they can. Pretty much like kid with a wealthy family and a poor family, the wealth one would lay around do nothing while spending on luxury (none essential) items, while the poor kid goes around do job around the neighborhood and save money.
However, the US has not lost yet, as of 2009 July China is still buying US debt. Lending money to the US. If you spend money wildly and owns a large debt, in the same time other people still willing to lend you money, would you consider yourself lost ?
At first ,all Chinese people loved peace.
And then, all Chinese people are enjoying peaceful life.
