Question by mr. wong: What is the best way to view Chinese characters in Windows Media Player?
My friend gave me some Chinese songs. When I play them using Windows Media Player, I see the playlist with a lot of squares and other symbols, but not the Chinese characters of the song names, artists, etc. What do I do to change the view so that I can view the info in Chinese characters? Thanks for your help. Step-by-step please.

Open Control Panel, open Regional and Language Options.
Click the Languages tab.
Check “Install files for East Asian languages”
OK
Another easy way is just go to a Chinese website (for example http://www.xinhuanet.com/) in Internet Explorer. It will usually ask if you want to install support for asian languages.
