One Response to “What exams a high school student in China need to take to attend a university in the States?”

  1. Miriam W says:

Usually, foreign students have to take the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), and most colleges in the U.S. require either the SAT or the ACT. The SAT is accepted by more colleges and is probably a better choice, but your nephew should contact the specific colleges he’s interested in and ask them which tests are required. The TOEFL and the SAT are the two big ones, though, and should be sufficient in most cases.
