Why do you think America went wrong? To be part of the vast movement forward is a great thing. To share this improvement with mankind is greater. China is benefiting from most of this and has so much to offer in the future that man should advent China’s coming into the modern age with awe. The question for China would be “What did America do right” and how can many of those successes be repeated?” Also, China was to come sooner or later anyways and now we have what we were going to have to deal with sooner or later anyways. The big hope for mankind is of course always we expect the worst but hope for the best.
China” greatest asset is her labor force/human resource and their common national goal (national unity) to push forward towards economic supremacy!
China’s rapid economic growth has been accompanied with significant structural changes in it’s economy. Whereas agriculture accounted for more than 40 percent of the GDP in 1970, it fell to 15 percent in 2004. China’s export (import) to the GDP ratio increased from less than 6 percent in 1980 to 36 percent (34 percent) in 2004. China also became the world’s largest recipient of FDI in 2004.
