Those little chinese cats that are usually waving or hanging up and they usually are towards the front of the store. An answer would be greatly appreciated.

They are called prosperity cats or Maneki Neko. And i think they origniated in Japan rather than China…I’m not positive though. But i do know Neko means cat in Japanese…so japanese origin would make sense. lol.

In China it is called Zhaocai Mao. (Mao means cat)
