The colbalt blue stripe and a simple but elegant silver pattern works very well together. The china is very white giving it a pure and clean look. The only thing I have found is that if you look at the plates very closely I can find a couple of very small pits which look like an air bubble that bust. It doesn’t appear on every plate and is minor (I doubt anyone would notice), but I wonder if this is common in the industry or just with wedgwood. Overall though, very satisfied.

We received several place settings of this china for our wedding in 2001. It is a wonderful design that is not too formal or too casual. We have received many compliments about it.

I bought 6 place sets, coffee pot, creamer and sugar bowl. My freinds always love to have afternoon tea with these beautiful china in my dining room. I trust Wedgwood’s quality and reputation. I think 50 years later, my grand children will still be proud to own Wedgewood like I do. Unfortunately,I just found out this is a retired pattern. If I want to buy certain bowls or salad plates, it might be a few problems in the future.

I chose this pattern for my bridal registry, and it was a perfect choice. This china can be used for formal and dressy or for a casual meal with friends. The dark blue and silver blend well with many other patterns to provide various table setting possibilities. It is all that you would expect from a wedgwood product.
