This review is from: The United States and China: Into the Twenty-first Century (Paperback)

I read this book for a history of foreign policy class in college. It’s an easy read. Schaller is straight to the point with his anaylsis of Sino-American relations starting with the Opium Wars to George W. He also provides great examples and background information.

I enjoyed this book. Foreign policy is not my favorite thing to read, but Schaller’s book makes it less painful. It provides the information, while being critical, without making his audience tired or bored.
