There’s a lot of information in this book (a little bit too much at times). It’s definitely not for beginners but for those die-hard Chinese astrologers.

Awesome read and still getting my head around it.

The only change that could be applied is the format… Their could be more illustrations for those who more visually oriented.

Comprehensive says it all. Very pleased with the ease of movement in finding content information since so much is given. A great working tool.

This book is full of evidence collected from the author and information about the history and what is written in some ancient Chinese texts. However, if you are looking for practical knowledge in order to actually cast horoscopes or do fate or feng shui predictions, then this is not the book for you. Information is somewhat terse and examples are not given. There isn’t enough to work here unless you are already very familiar with the subject matter at hand (in which case you may not even need this book) in order to use on a practical level.
What you will find here is some history, a few examples of some obscure methods in which the Chinese may have cast their horoscopes during certain periods and certain dynasties, and a lot of tables and figures with Chinese characters. A good book if you are a researcher or an academic.
