I own and have read the first edition of Ms. Tolchin’s most informative book. Having now read the revised edition I see that it contains crucial new information for anyone considering having a new product manufactured in China. There are lots of new government regulations that continually make the whole process much more complicated. This revised edition contains lots of new information about CPSIA regulations as well as added chapters about how to market your product once it has been manufactured according to the latest safety standards.
This book is a must read that will likely save you lots of time and aggravation and money as you move toward bringing your new product to market.

This book is very informative for someone like me (propective inventor) that is trying to bring a product from my brain to the shelf. I am happy that they came out with a 2nd book. It is really easy to read and understand, and I would recommend it to anyone that is looking to source from China (or anywhere else for that matter). There is a lot of information that is helpful and even interesting during the whole invention process. Kudos to the authors! Two thumbs up!
