   Just received several sets I ordered and finished examining pieces. None broken in shipment, and the quality of pieces is exceptional, exceeding my expectation. Pure quality and beauty. I wonder how these quality pieces can be sold at this price. Amazing. Extremely happy with the purchase.

   Firstly this is not the exact set I purchased. Mine are the simple ones but all Red Vanilla are manufactured in China. Here’s my story: I purchased these because they were inexpensive, simple and had a pleasant clean style. After using them for 14 months I noticed they wouldn’t come clean. After inspecting them under light I saw that the glaze had worn off revealing large rainbow, pearl-like areas, especially on the dinner plates. I believe that these markings are exposed lead. When I purchased them I did not realize they were from China. We will dispose of these promptly.
