This mug is a lovely Lenox piece. The weight and handle are more like a teacup than a traditional mug. The rim is also like a teacup so it is easy to sip your drink. The colors are beautiful, but it is had to see the variety of colors on the photos on line. The variety of colors with the gold banded decoration and ivory china makes for a beautiful table–for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I had studied the dishes(colors, size, feel) at a variety of stores and knew what I was shopping for before I ordered on line. The item arrived promptly and was well packaged in a Lenox box.
