Question by 1: How is the communism in China different and alike the government in “The Giver”?
Im writing a paper on this and all I have is that in “the giver” there are laws that control the population just like in china, but i need more differences or likenesses between the giver and communism in china.

China is a comunism and shilds its people. But the gov in the giver has nothing to protect their people from

The Giver lets you have 2 children, one girl and one boy. In China you can only have one child. The rules are strict in both. I can’t remember, but I think they are both dictatorships. Everyone looks about the same in both. China uses the Death Penalty while The Giver uses Releasing, (I’m reading the same book in my class and I don’t know what releasing means yet).
