Like the first person said. Jasmine is the type of rice used in Chinese restaurants. Simply use a rice cooker.

I’ve noticed that the better Chinese restaurants like to use Thai Jasmine Rice, which is very fragrant & not too sticky. It’s usually a long grain rice.

Use a rice cooker. Its a no fail way to go. Rinse your rice at least 3 times, until the water is somewhat clear. Make sure you follow the instructions that go with your rice cooker. It should come out perfectly.

    -Good luck

Chinese rest. use Calrose rice, trust me. I know it from rest. owners.

Buy it from ur local asian mart

Rinse the rice in a bowl or pot with sink water—rinse, drain, rinse, drain, etc, until the water is no longer white but clear

Put in rice cooker according to instructions.

    Walah! :)

I’ve found that soaking it for an hour prior to cooking makes it much easier to deal with..

Rose rice is sticky rice , so use Jasmin rice . 1 cup enough for 2 to 3 people. Wash it ,dump out the water, put in clean water above 1 inch above the rice, then turn on ur rice cooker

The reason why Japanese rice is stickier is because they use short grain rice and Chinese restaurants use long grain rice. The best way to make the perfect rice is to buy the Asian rice cookers. not the ones sold at walmart. Go to an Asian store to buy one :)
