Product Description
3 bags at 300 g (2 lbs) approximately 20-30 servings This smaller size is perfect for home use. Tapioca pearls are about the size of small marbles and have a distinctively chewy texture. The texture is very similar to Japanese mochi or gummy bears. If you can cook pasta, rice or ramen noodles then you can definitely cook these tapioca pearls. Tapioca is the foundation for a bubble tea drink. It is the first thing that customers will judge. Think about it. When most people buy a bubble tea the first thing they do is see how much tapioca was given and if they feel the business is being skimpy. Next they will sip the drink and check the texture of the tapioca. These are the questions that the customers think about… “Is it chewy?” “Is it hard?” “Is it chewy on the outside and hard on the inside?” “Is it not chewy at all?” A perfectly chewy and lightly sweetened tapioca pearl is essential for these customers to buy again. This is sometimes overlooked by businesses. Bu
Bubble Tea Black Tapioca Pearl

If you follow the instructions on cooking boba/tapioca/bubble tea, the consistency and taste is amazing. The only downside is that the pearls tend to crumble in the bag and are generally fragile before they begin to cook and darken. Also, if the water is not hot enough in the beginning, you get the same problem of the pearls dissolving and things getting a bit messy and/or sticky. If you are patient and dedicated, these are the best choice, but if you want a simpler alternative, try the black minute pearls instead. Less delicate, easy to make, and just as tasty in the end, they are a lovely alternative. It’s your choice, though. Either way, boba/tapioca pearls are a deliciously addictive addition to most iced drinks, especially milk teas, but also quite a few juices.

I liked the taste and texture. However, one of my packages arrived with the vaccuum broken and the balls had turned to complete dust. I wrote to customer support, but have yet to hear from them.
You have to boil the balls for 30 minutes, covered, let them sit for another 25 minutes, still covered, then rinse them in cold water. Then you coat them in sugar syrup, which you make by simmering equal parts of sugar and water.

I’m definitely a satisfied customer. My DHL package got to me damaged and the box was wet. The Bubble Tea customer service representatives where wonderful about replacing it. I will buy from them again! They have excellent customer service in my book! Thanks.

I don’t what is up with the picture but what I received was a 2 lb. bag of the black instant pearls. It was exactly what I wanted and cooked without problem. I’ve been trying it out on different Thai deserts without much success though because the instant kind of tapioca doesn’t soak up juices as well as hoped.

It’s interesting when you find out that tapioca pearls are actually those little bubbly round things you find in pudding. They are REALLY good. This is a great product. I recommend it.
