Question by Fufu: Are there any athletes of Western ancestry who grew up in China representing China?
Many Western professionals have moved to China in the last 20 years. Is there already a generation of young people who have Western parents but were born in China or have moved there at a young age and feel Chinese?

There’re certainly some Western kids grew up in China act and behave like Chinese but I dont believe the number is significant due to the big political and behavioral cultures existed between the 2 places, most Western parents probably want their kids to keep to the core value of the west. Also China has more enough people to worry herself, the last thing she wants is to have immigrants like the west.

NO
NO. There are very few people of western descent who are citizens or permanent residents of China. No star athletes among them.
Virtually all westerners who come to China for school or work retain their foreign nationality. In part this is because obtaining Chinese citizenship is a complex and very long process.
The largest concentration of Chinese citizens with western descent are in Hong Kong. There are approximately 30,000 of them (out of a population of 7 million).
